Data Services

IPSR is a repository for Kansas data and a hub of interdisciplinary policy and social research. Staff are available to assist affiliated faculty and student researchers with locating public data, data collection, data management, data documentation, data visualization, and data dissemination.

Locating Public Data

IPSR staff have extensive experience with federal and state data sources. Consultations are available on finding and using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and many other sources.

Data Collection

IPSR has access to Qualtrics, a robust online survey tool, for conducting online surveys. IPSR staff can assist researchers in setting up their own survey or can manage an online survey for sponsored projects.
