Fall 2017 Seed Grant Program

Pursuant to its mission as an interdisciplinary hub of human migration-related research at KU, the Center for Migration Research (CMR) strives to provide support to its affiliates’ scientific endeavors. As part of these efforts, CMR is continuing its seed grant program. The main goal of the program is to enhance and expand migration-related research across disciplines and units at KU and to support creative interdisciplinary projects on their way to competing for external funding.

The program funds initial stages of research related to human migration, broadly defined. Interdisciplinary proposals are particularly encouraged. Award recipients are required to submit an external grant application within one year of award date. Proposals are due by 5PM on September 29, 2017.
