Sources of Research Funding

Determining which sources to approach for research funding is one of the most important, and challenging, pieces of the grant application process.

IPSR Pre-Award staff can conduct funding searches and help researchers at KU identify funding sources that are appropriate for their research. Contact Nancy Myers ( to initiate this process.

Pivot - Pivot is a tool licensed by KU that helps researchers identify sources of funding, potential collaborators, and connect with the broader research community at KU and beyond.

Internal (KU) Sources of Research Funding
