IPSR is a Green Office

Work Group on Gender-Based Violence

The KU Work Group on Gender-Based Violence is an interdisciplinary consortium among KU faculty that investigates commonalities in qualitative research methods. Housed within the Center for the Study of Injustice at IPSR, the work group brings together faculty members from across KU, KU Law, and KU Med Center that teach courses related to gender-based violence and study gender-based violence in their own research.

The Heartland Sexual Assault Policies & Prevention on Campuses Project’s (Heartland Project) primary goal is to increase post-secondary schools’ adoption of a comprehensive, gender-centered public health approach to sexual assault campus policy and prevention.

The University of Kansas prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, ancestry, disability, status as a veteran, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, gender identity, gender expression, and genetic information in the university’s programs and activities. Retaliation is also prohibited by university policy.
